About Les Cornish
Les Cornish is best known for his distinctive pastel seascapes and fishing boat themed paintings.  He also produces wildlife, architectural and landscape works of art.  Born in South Africa in 1952, he became a popular S. African artist where he held regular exhibitions of his work and was featured in galleries in Johannesburg and along the south coast.

Les has truly become an international artist.  His work is located throughout the globe in places such as the US, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and of course many southern African countries.  His work has proved to be equally appealing in private homes, as well as embassies, and enhancing the walls of boardrooms and CEO’s offices of many large corporations.

Les has many repeat customers and readily accepts commissions.  If you have a photo of the place you love, he’ll create one for your wall in oils or pastels.  Today, Les can be found in his Brookings home studio, leisurely creating paintings of the coastal seascapes that he so enjoys.

We’re sure you will also enjoy this beautiful area of the country.  Visit Brookings, and he’ll help you take home a memento of the beautiful Pacific coast.
